My dear and beloved Krissy recently tagged me with a blog award and now I must write my own post of things that make me smile. So following her example: 7 random pieces of information about me, things that make me smile (I guess I’ll go with 7 too:D), a song that makes me smile and I’ll tag 7 bloggers with a little happy message. I like the task!
Things you probably (don’t)need to know
I always carry a notebook with me. I fill it with all sorts of stuff: from quotes I read or hear at any given mements, to song lyrics, doodles or ideas for posts1
My first favourite movie was a triple tie between Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland. I’ve seen them all numerous times and they’re still among my top loved movies.
If I could pick my dream job, I’d choose to be a writer. I’m not good at writing whatsoever, but there’s something about that occupation that I find so idyllic. And probably very fitting with my personality. Now I only need to learn how to write 
I never read only ONE book at a time. I like to alternate between at least two2. I also try to vary the languages to avoid losing practice.
My first memory is of my first day in kindergarten when I was 3 years old. I remember entering the classroom and my teacher taking me with the rest of the children to play.
I never set up any of my clock alarms to an “exact” time. If I have to set it at, let’s say, 7:30, I will set it at 7:32, 9:00 becomes 8:59 and so on. Why do I do this? No idea. Just a random little habit with no reason behind it.
The best birthday present I ever got was two years ago. My best friend, who lives out of town couldn’t be here for my birthday. But unexpectedly, he hopped on a bus, travelled for 6 hours just to be here for dinner and drinks and leave the day after. It’s one of those things you never forget.

Alice, who is always willing to share her opinions on her blog. I especially love her book reviews and I know that if I’m ever looking for new reading material, I can always pay her a visit for some ideas
Anouska, who you can trust to find all kind of online little gems, from fonts, to websites, art… Oh! And check out her scripts too, because she is that talented ;D
Emma, who doesn’t blog anymore, and I’m tagging her just for that 
She’s one of my dearest partners in crime around the web, and who knows? Maybe she’ll respond to that and blog a little3
Jessica, who has been nothing short of amazing to me (and to many more people). She, like me, has struggled with trying to keep up with a blogging schedule, and has managed to find her pace for it. Congrats, you’ve been tagged!
La Grenadine, who is always so sweet on her comments. I’m loving her bilingual blog which also allows me to practise my French
Manda, who has always been one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to blogging. She manages to keep her readers entertained whether she writes a movie review or shares her school adventures.
Michi, who is the sweetest girl, and I love her blog because of the variety of things she blogs about. Special mention to her 2010 activity: the Project 365, one photo taken each day of the year. It’s like walking around with her on her daily life, I’m loving it ;D

I set my alarm clock at odd times too, except I tend to make it 5 mins earlier, so it gives me time to wake up slowly.
Your friend visiting you like that is definitely an amazing present, if someone made that sort of effort for me I’d feel brilliant.

I agree with you on writing. I’m a frustrated writer and I love doing it but unlike you, it’s not my dream job. I find it amusing because my grandfather is a writer and my mom and my sister are good writers too. And yay for The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland! *high five*
Aww…I feel very honored for that. Thank you so much! *hearts you* I’m glad you’re enjoying my entries. I’m trying my best and I’m glad that I’ve found the time to blog regularly now compared to last year.

I’d be interested to see these wondrous Lost theories you record in your notebook. ;D I really should get in the habit of doing the same. I want to remember all my thoughts this season so I can look back and remember what the very first things that went through my mind were while watching.
Sometimes I wish I was a writer too. Even though I have zero writing skill. If I had any talent what-so-ever, I think it would be so amazing to have written a book. So I suppose I’ll just let out my random attempts on my blog.
That sounds like it was the most awesome birthday present! I can’t imagine anyone doing that for me, but it would be so wonderful!

I wish I was a writer too!! When I was a child that was all I wanted to do. Now all I need is some inspiration. Hope you get some inspiration and try your hand – you never know what you might pull out!!
